THE YOUNG FRIENDS OF BAYREUTH
For friends and fans of Richard Wagner’s works under the age of 35 we launched the Young Friends of Bayreuth in 2008.
Together with the Festival management, we offer interesting insights into the workings of the Festival, what goes on behind the scenes and the artistic work. The programme for the Young Friends includes visits to operas and rehearsals at the Bayreuth Festival and other opera houses, workshops and discussions and is intended to draw them more deeply into Richard Wagner’s world. Our aim is to foster the exchange among young international opera lovers.
