Over 58,000 tickets have been sold for this year’s festival, to interested parties from over 78 countries. Anyone who couldn’t acquire one of the coveted tickets can still be there “live” at the festival opening. Because the “Meistersinger von Nürnberg” will be broadcast in selected cinemas.
