A large stage at the foot of the Festival Hill, the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra under conductor Markus Poschner and on the program: music that, entirely in the spirit of Richard Wagner, broke the boundaries of its time and created something new. Pieces of music, arias and duets by Wagner, Dimitri Shostakovich, Alban Berg, Kurt Weill, Giuseppe Verdi and Aerosmith. A picnic atmosphere on a balmy summer night and a musical program full of discoveries.
