In the 2025 festival season, the Bayreuth Festival will present a version of Richard Wagner’s “Tannhäuser” specially created for children as part of the “Wagner for Children” project. As in previous years, the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt (Oder) will perform.

The premiere of the children’s opera will take place on July 25, 2025 at 11 a.m. on the Bayreuth Festival’s Rehearsal Stage 4. Nine further performances will follow until August 3, 2025.
