Attilio Glaser
Attilio Glaser started the 2019/20 season with his role debut as Idomeneo (Idomeneo) in Frankfurt, followed by his first Rodolfo (La bohème) at Deutsche Oper Berlin and his house debut as Da-Ud in Die ägyptische Helena under the baton of Franz Welser-Möst at Teatro alla Scala in Milan. In 2018/19 the tenor made his debut as Duca di Mantova in Verdi's Rigoletto at Deutsche Oper Berlin and Vienna State Opera. He sang for the first time the title role of Mozart's La clemenza di Tito at Stadttheater Klagenfurt before returning to the Dutch National Opera as Walther von der Vogelweide. In Amsterdam he appeared as Narraboth in Salome by Richard Strauss already in 2017. In the same year Attilio Glaser had a very successful role debut as Werther at Stadttheater Klagenfurt and he sang this role at the Frankfurt Opera and the Zurich Opera House as well. He made his debut as Ismaele in Verdi's Nabucco in the 2015/2016 season at Deutsche Oper Berlin, where he has appeared since then as Tamino in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Alfredo in Verdi's La traviata and Narraboth in Strauss' Salome - followed by his first Don Ottavio in Mozart's Don Giovanni in 2018. In 2014 Attilio Glaser made his debut at La Fenice in Venice as Alfredo and as Fenton in Nicolai's Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor at the Opéra de Lausanne.
Furthermore the artist devotes himself intensively to concert singing: with Bach's Mass in B minor and Christmas Oratorio, Beethoven's Missa Solemnis and Symphony N° 9, Dvořáks Requiem and Stabat Mater, Gounod's Cäcilienmesse, Handel's Judas Maccabaeus, Messiah and Saul, Haydn's The Creation, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Lobgesang and Paulus, Mozart's Great Mass in C minor and Requiem, Saint-Saën's Oratorio de Noël and Verdi's Requiem.
Attilio Glaser has performed as a soloist at the Beijing Music Festival, Bergamo Musica Festival, Beethoven Festival, 30° Aniversario del Palau de la Música in Valencia, Holland Festival, Max Reger Musiktage, Rheingau Music Festival and the Salzburg Easter Festival. He has worked with orchestras such as the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest, Munich Chamber Orchestra, Filarmonica della Scala, Orchestra Filarmonica del Gran Teatro La Fenice, Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, Orquesta de Valencia, Radio Filharmonisch Orkest, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden and with conductors such as Alain Altinoglu, Andrea Battistoni, Łukasz Borowicz, Myung-Whun Chung, Daniele Gatti, Alexander Liebreich, Zubin Mehta, Ivan Repušić, Ainārs Rubiķis, Donald Runnicles, Markus Stenz, Sir Jeffrey Tate, Christian Thielemann and Lorenzo Viotti.
