Felix Pacher

Austrian bass Felix Pacher will make his debut this year at the Bayreuth Festival as the Third Noble in Lohengrin under the baton of Christian Thielemann. This follows his recent successes as Don Alfonso in W.A. Mozart's Così fan tutte at the Croatian National Theatre Zagreb and with J.S. Bach's Easter Oratorio at the Vienna Musikverein.

In the last season, Felix Pacher performed, among others, as Masetto (Don Giovanni, W.A. Mozart) at the Opernsommer Wien Belvedere, as Daland (children's version of R. Wagner's The Flying Dutchman) at the Vienna State Opera, and as Masetto and Commendatore (Don Giovanni, W.A. Mozart) with the Montenegrin Symphonic Orchestra.

In 2022, he made his debut at the Vienna State Opera in the title role of Ludger Vollmer's youth opera Tschick, for which he was awarded the Stella23 Prize by ASSITEJ Austria for outstanding acting performance the following year. In the same year, he won Elīna Garanča's ZukunftsStimmen competition.

As a concert singer, Felix Pacher has performed in major works of the sacred repertoire, including Handel's Messiah, Haydn's Creation, Mozart's Requiem, and in the role of Jesus in Bach's St. Matthew Passion.

Pacher completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), where he is currently continuing his Master's studies in the classes of KS Angelika Kirchschlager and Jörg Schneider.
