Sonja Isabel Reuter
The young Frankfurt soprano studied singing/musical theater at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar in the class of Prof. Dr. M. Lanskoi since 2014. From 2018, she continued her studies at the Hanns Eisler University of Music Berlin, where she graduated with a Master's degree in opera singing in the summer of 2022 with top marks.
Since the 2022/23 season, Sonja Isabel Reuter has been part of the ensemble of the Theater für Niedersachsen in Hildesheim. Here she can be seen in various roles in her field, including her role debut as "Mimì" in "La Bohème" by G. Puccini in the fall of 2023. In the Bayreuth Festival's children's opera this summer, she will sing the "2nd Flower Girl" in a version of "Parsifal for Children" by R. Wagner. In November 2021 she performed as "Sie" in the world premiere of the chamber opera "Haut" by L. Trojani at the Tischlerei of the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
Sonja Isabel Reuter is a young talent award winner as well as a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association Leipzig and was a scholarship holder of various foundations, such as the Giovanni Omodeo Foundation, the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation or the Bernt-Rohrer Foundation.
She also received essential musical impulses in master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender, Edita Gruberová, Helen Donath, Catherine Foster, as well as in the Lied area from Prof. Semjon Skigin and Prof. Thomas Steinhöfel.
